Mini Apple Pie with Puff Pastry🥧
So easy your kids can make it 💕
2 Granny Smith apples, peeled and cubed
1/2 stick of butter
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
1/2 cup of butter, melted for brushing the pastries
Preheat oven to 375°F
In a medium sized skillet on med to low heat, combine butter and brown sugar until melted. Add in the cubed apples and ground cinnamon.
Mix well and let it simmer (while stirring) for 2 minutes. Set aside to cool.
Roll out the puff pastry and cut the pastry into 6 equal squares.
Place a spoonful of the apple mixture into the center of each square.
Use a fork to pinch down the sides.
Brush the tops of the pastry with the melted butter using a pastry brush.
Transfer the pastries onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake for 14 to 18 minutes or until the pastries are golden brown and puffed up.
Remove from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes before serving. Enjoy! :)
