Ingredients
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup sea salt or kosher salt
Orange sliced
Lemon sliced
2/3 sprigs Thyme
2/3 sprigs Sage
2/3 sprigs Rosemary
2/3 Bay leaves
1/4 cup Black peppercorns
4/5 smashed garlic cloves
Water enough to cover the turkey
Preparation
Fill about an inch of water in a large pot and bring to a boil.
Add all the ingredients and simmer for 2/3 minutes. Let cool completely.
Add in the turkey and add enough water to cover. Keep it in the refrigerator for 24 hours and your turkey is ready for cooking!
